The Chapel of the Nativity opens its doors wide to all national and foreign pilgrims who visit Panama and come to the town of Boquete to see what is described as the permanent home of the Child Jesus and His Holy Family.
This chapel is guarded by the Franciscan friars of the district of Boquete and was designed with the intention of making known the story of the birth of the savior of the world in a simple, interactive and narrated with historical, biblical and Franciscan nuances.
The Nativity Chapel is a place to share, meditate and find peace, which touches the hearts of those who visit it.
Its main room presents the birth of the Child Jesus in sequence; dramatized with images and narrations that give rise to various scenes supported by multimedia material, robotics and lighting effects that make this presentation an unforgettable moment for its visitors, especially for children.
Inside the Hall you can say your prayers and make your petitions. The chapel has a small store where they offer souvenirs, local art with biblical messages, rosaries, medals, among other items that you can take as a souvenir of your visit or to make a special gift.
Entrance to the chapel is free and there are ample parking spaces. You can make voluntary donations that will undoubtedly help with the maintenance of the chapel.
